The National Commission for Women in corroboration with Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) and Ministry of Home Affairs had conducted a three day Training Programme from 3^rd-5^th March 2016, at BTC, ITBP, Bhanu, Panchkula (Chandigarh) for women Police Officers from the level of ASI to SSP who would be investigating officers including Head Constables in the matters of crime against women.

This training programme at BTC, ITBP, Bhanu, Panchkula (Chandigarh) was attended by 70 women Police Officers from the ranks of Head Constables to SSPs who came from 5 states namely: Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir.

The recommendations received from the women Police Officers from the level of ASI to SSP who would be investigating officers including Head Constables in the matters of crime against women is given at Annexure- X.
